More Than a Team. A Program Built for the Future.
Assault Fastpitch is a statewide youth development program powered by A Positive Trajectory Foundation (APTF). We combine competitive fastpitch softball with education, mentorship, leadership, accountability, and long-term opportunity to help young women develop on the field and prepare for life beyond the game.
How Assault Is Structured
Assault Fastpitch is organized from 8U through 18U, with each team led by a head coach operating under common organizational standards, expectations, and player-development goals. As the program grows, organization-level specialists in pitching, catching, hitting, infield, and outfield development will support athletes and coaches across multiple teams. This structure allows individual teams to maintain their own identity while benefiting from the resources, accountability, and support of the larger Assault Fastpitch program.
What Makes Assault Different
Athlete Development
Position-specific instruction, softball IQ, strength, speed, agility, and competitive development designed to help every athlete reach her potential.
Academics & Education
We emphasize academic achievement, personal responsibility, and preparation for life after high school, with a program standard of maintaining a GPA of at least 3.0.
Mentorship & Support
Athletes are supported by coaches, mentors, educators, and other qualified professionals who help reinforce confidence, responsibility, resilience, and healthy personal development.
Accountability & Standards
Clear expectations for academics, attendance, conduct, effort, teamwork, and personal responsibility create consistency across the organization and help athletes understand what it means to represent Assault Fastpitch.
Character & Leadership
We build discipline, accountability, confidence, resilience, teamwork, service, and leadership—life skills designed to help young women become strong, self-sufficient leaders.
College & Career Preparation
We prepare athletes for opportunities beyond high school—including college softball at every level—while helping each young woman identify the educational and career path that is right for her.
Powered by APTF
Assault Fastpitch is powered by A Positive Trajectory Foundation (APTF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization building a broader support system around athletes and their families. While Assault focuses on softball and athlete development, APTF helps connect young women with educational support, mentorship, qualified professional resources, career and workforce opportunities, community partners, and other services designed to support long-term success.
Built for New Mexico
Assault Fastpitch is being built to serve young women across New Mexico. As the organization grows, local teams and coaches will operate under shared Assault Fastpitch standards, development systems, and centralized support—creating opportunities for athletes to be part of one connected statewide program while training and competing in their own communities.
